Shipping and Delivery

If purchased off the showroom floor, how long does it take to receive?

White glove delivery by our professional delivery team is usually within a week, many times next day.  Our team usually delivers within a 5-hour drive time radius of Asheville NC.  Outside of the 5-hour drive time radius we use a third-party delivery service. Delivery by a third-party delivery service may take up to 2 to 3 weeks.

Customers are also welcome to pick up their item's same day as purchase. We will wrap it in foam and help you load it. Customer is responsible for providing moving blankets and tie down straps. Cardboard is highly recommended if going into the back of a pickup truck or on a surface that may scratch the furniture.

How long does it take to have custom furniture built and delivered?

If the furniture is purchased from our inventory it will be delivered within 1-2 weeks. For custom orders it is typically four to ten weeks from the order date. Occasionally, some quick ship items arrive in three weeks or may take as long as twelve weeks to be delivered. Most of our furniture is handcrafted in small shops and several factors are at play in determining the specific lead time. There is also some seasonality to lead times.  The majority of our furniture is ready to be delivered or picked up between 4 to 8 weeks from the order date.

Will you deliver the furniture into a specific room in our home?

White Glove delivery includes delivery into your home and assembly of all items. Our professional delivery team will place the furniture in the room(s) you designate and handle any assembly (i.e., assemble beds, place hutch tops on hutch bases, shelf placement, etc.).

Is the furniture insured during shipping?

Yes, all of your pieces are 100% insured while in transit. In rare instances damage may occur in transit. Please inspect all furniture at time of delivery, if any items are damaged, please note it on the delivery receipt paperwork before the carrier leaves and call us directly at 828-684-7400 so we may take care of the issue.

Does furniture require assembly?

Most items are pre-assembled and ready to use.  For customer pick up items, a 1/2-inch wrench or socket is required to assemble Amish dining table pedestals, feet, and/or legs. Items such as Amish hutch with a base and mirrors for Amish dressers may need to be attached with a Phillips or square bit screwdriver.
